Common questions

You should drop off your dog and collect at the AGREED time. Appointments last between 1-2 hrs so we ask clients to be prompt on arrival and collection.  

Yes you MUST disclose this information. It is vitally important that you inform us if the dog can show aggression or is anxious, so that we can decide whether or not we are willing to put ourselves at risk. Aggression in particular is very serious and can end a groomers career. 

Mats happen and you should not be embarrassed to let us know. It takes extra time to remove them, so additional costs might be incurred. We will give advice on how to avoid them in future. 

We are often booked up many weeks in advance. We ask for 48hrs notice of cancellation. By giving notice, we can arrange for an alternative dog to attend, If you don’t give enough notice, we are unable to do this and therefore reserve the right to charge you 50% of the fee. 

If you fail to show up for your appointment, you will be charged 50% of the price of the groom. This is because you have entered a contract for our services and you have failed to keep to the agreed terms. Sadly, without notice, we cannot replace your booking with an alternative dog. The charge will need to be satisfied before we can rebook your next appointment.

We encourage puppies to be groomed. This can be carried out once they have been fully vacinated.
